God Cares...

Ever worry? As believers one of the most reassuring thing we need to learn is that our God is dependable. He cares for us in all ways. For myself, because I live with a physical disability, I often struggle with worrying. Worrying about something like,  how will I be able to hire a new Personal Care Attendant if the one I have resigns? How will I be able to get out of or into bed? Oh no, what if this so what if that? I am sure we all have certain areas in life that we may struggle with. If you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour then join us in reminding ourselves, that God cares for all of our needs. It may not always look the way we want it to, but we must trust that He knows us and knows just what we need and when we need it. We are called to cast our cares, burdens, anxieties onto Him, for He cares for us. We are told to pray without ceasing, to make our requests known to Him. Most of all, Thanking God in all situations, not just when things are going the way we want them to. We have testimony after testimony of God's provision. When things look impossible, that is when amazing things happen.

I wanted to share one of the many blessings that God provided for my husband. Recently, after a long wait and praying for help, my husband was blessed with being able to purchase Quickie Power Assist wheels called Xtender. Because he has been using a wheelchair for a lot of years, his shoulders have been damaged and moving his "legs" (wheels) increases that damage. We thank God for His many blessings and want to encourage anyone who may have similar issues, to consider these wheels if you need them. Make your requests known to God and if it is His will, you will receive the assistance you need some how.

Here is one of my favourite passages to remind me about how much God cares about us.

[Matthew 6:25-34 KJV] 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27  Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, [shall he] not much more [clothe] you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof.
