Always wanting to share videos, articles and such on topics that are all about our Sure Hope. Today I listened/watched a great interview by David Carrico from "Midnight Ride,"  from Now U See TV.  a pretty interesting You Tube channel, with JuliaThompson who founded Global Awakening  Prayer.  She was a victim of the targeted individual agenda or program. Not sure what to call it. All /i know that as strange as it sounds, we've done enough research, that it is clearly a very real type of warfare. The best way I can explain it is, electronic mind  warfare. Some agency is able to actually put thoughts and feelings into targeted individuals. This woman was saved out of it by God. I suggest watching her speak because clearly she is very real, of sound mind and not making this stuff up. Phil Robertson My husband and I for a while were watching seasons of Duck Dynasty back to back, when we first discovered it about four years ago. We appreciated the Phil scenes because he seemed real, open and brutally honest. Before that, we had heard the name Duck Dynasty but were clueless about what it was. It wasn't until we heard his name mentioned back then, by a pastor we watch on the internet. He spoke about Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty being under attack in the media,  for his comments regarding sodomites.  His stance was a bible based one, and anyone who believes the Bible to be the Word of God, also has the same position. That goes for us as well. What is that you ask?  That God created us male and female, made obvious, by our specific anatomy, with the ability to reproduce with out petri dishes and other scientific intervention.  Created to join as one in marriage (unless called to be single of course.) This world is not my home, I am just passing through...I believe that is an old hymn I remember, sort of. All I know is as far back as I can remember, even before I knew why we were put on this earth, I just didn't feel "at home" in this world. Didn't know what it was all about then. But once I knew, an incredible peace flooded my soul and has been there ever since. If you are struggling with fear, especially in light of what we face more with life changing world events. I remember how scared I was back as a teen in the late 70s. The nuclear bomb threat, cold war and all that left me paralyzed with fear at times. Back then I didn't know Jesus. Whenever I hear about the latest terrorist attack or horrible crime or disaster, my mind goes back to those days and I think about how afraid young people must be. That is, young people who were like me - not knowing Jesus and the Truth of God's Word.  His Truth is just as real and alive as the day He had it penned....

When I first hear the word Hope, I don’t think about anything "sure" but about a possible Despair, by Anita Berglund brighter future. However, when it comes to our Sure Hope in Jesus Christ, the Bible really shows us how He is an absolute Hope, not wishful thinking or positive thoughts. We can rest assure, that He is all we need to live with peace in our hearts no matter what storms may rage around us. There was a time when I despaired because I had no hope. My life was supposed to end at the age of 20 due to a misdiagnosis of a disability. Terrified of what would come after death and sure that there had to be meaning to life, I let myself sink down low. But, thanks to praying, Christian family members, and the fact that God hears our heart's cry for Truth, He opened my eyes. I was never one to believe in anything just to make me feel better. I had to know if there was an absolute Truth to why we are here. It's a long story, but the bottom line is, God show...

Sure Hope! We always like to share Christian ministries and organizations that others may also be inspired and encouraged by. Paul Flynn from Ireland has quite a life transforming testimony. He was a satanist, and had declared war on God, steeped in the enemy's ways. Just as God transformed Craig and I, Paul Flynn's life was also saved, making him a new creation in Christ. It is always good to be reminded that we can never "earn" salvation or God's favour by being "good" or living what some may say, "properly." Even if we "do" all the right things morally, without Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we have no hope. If you are searching for the meaning of life and are at rock bottom, like we once were, or if you are cruising along believing all is well yet you don't know Jesus as Lord of your life...know that you are loved with a love that no human can offer us. You're going to die and so are we. Of course, unless Jesus returns and believers are translated (raptured) before we leave this earth physically, physical death will happen. Some Christian teachers apparently don't believe that the rapture will happen, but based on what the Bible says, it seems pretty clear that dead or alive, Christians have this to look forward to. However it plays out, we can trust God's Word and either way, it's all good. 1Cr 15:52 KJV - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1Th 4:16 KJV - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one...

2Cr 5:14-21 NLT - Whatever we do, it is because Christ's love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for everyone, we also believe that we have all died to the old life we used to live.  He died for everyone so that those who receive His New Life will no longer live to please themselves. Instead, they will live to please Christ, who died and was raised for them. So we have stopped evaluating others by what the world thinks about them. Once I mistakenly thought of Christ that way, as though He were merely a human being. How differently I think about Him now!   What this means is that those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A New Life has begun!  All this newness of life is from God, who brought us back to himself through what Christ did. And God has given us the task of reconciling people to Him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, no longer counting ...

Sure Hope! When we receive a gift that changes our life, a gift that is the answer to the age old question about the meaning of life, it is natural to want to share that gift with anyone who wants to know. This is what this blog is all about. Faith is believing in something that you don't see. The awesome thing is, when I once searched for why we are here and what life was all about, something inside me knew there had to be one Truth and One Way. To not talk about Thee Truth, to me would be like finding the cure for cancer and not sharing it. In fact, knowing the meaning of life is even bigger than finding the cure for cancer. those who know, can understand why. That Truth is there for all of us to receive.  Obviously, there are a zillion faiths and religions out there in this world. All of us were created body, soul and spirit and that is why so many seek deeper meaning and purpose. The thing is, that if we believe in things because it makes us feel warm and fuzzy and doe...
