Have you ever felt that something you heard or read under the banner of "Christianity," just doesn't seem right? It happens too me a lot. It doesn't mean I am right, but it is something that I struggle with often. It is why articles like this appear on this blog. Yes, sometimes I wonder if I am being too "picky" about what is okay to watch, read or listen to, from a Christian stand point that is. A valid query I think, especially in light of how many fellow Christians, leaders and organizations in this world, unquestioningly endorse all kinds of so called "Christian" books, movies and such. Been thinking about the commandment regarding graven images and whether or not making "bible" movies and such are "okay." Actually, as an artist it has been something that has bothered me for years. I just can't bring myself to make any images representing Jesus because it doesn't sit right. So, why share these verses. Derek Prince is no longer on this earth, but his teachings live on in the form of video presentations, audio and the written word. We have listened to many of his Biblical based teachings and affirm that he is definitely gifted by God to present various topics such as this one. In light of the "half" truths that are being declared lately (throughout history actually) - we feel it important to defend the faith as we are told... There are a lot of words that can be shared in regard to Christianity and what it is all about. As well as encouraging words, useful words, to help new believers to know what it means now that they have placed their faith in Christ.  As I try writing and re-writing entries and not posting them,  I have concluded, at this point that as a spiritually hungry Christian myself, why not post the teachings that God uses to speak to me. If they speak to me, then they may speak to you. This is why you will see many videos and links to the teachings of my fellow Christians. Please see the links, for more great teaching resources. If you haven't already discovered this, there have been and still are, many belief systems and religious doctrines in this world that refer to themselves as "Christian." For instance, there have been a few opportunities in which I had the opportunity to talk with some Jehovah's Witnesses. Usually, they (and the Mormons) are the folks who travel in suits and in pairs to our homes, seeking converts and pass on their literature. Well, if you say to a Jehovah's Witness and even a Mormon (I found out from experience) that you are a Christian, they often respond with "So am I!" It was when I learned that the J.Ws do not believe in the Trinity. And because God provided awesome Christian discipleship, through a godly sister in Christ, when I became a believer, I was blessed with being taught the basic fundamentals about what being a Christian means - doctrine and such.
