This subject is not one that most Christians want to know about or acknowledge. Why? Well, based on my own weaknesses and what draws me in, I can say possibly because many of us were raised on television and movies. For my entire life, there is a false soothing effect when I turn on a television or these days, whatever I can find on the world wide web, YouTube. Like a  drug addiction. When you research the history and purpose of entertainment that reaches the masses, it is clear that it was all created with a  purpose. Today I listened/watched a great interview by David Carrico from "Midnight Ride,"  from Now U See TV.  a pretty interesting You Tube channel, with JuliaThompson who founded Global Awakening  Prayer.  She was a victim of the targeted individual agenda or program. Not sure what to call it. All /i know that as strange as it sounds, we've done enough research, that it is clearly a very real type of warfare. The best way I can explain it is, electronic mind  warfare. Some agency is able to actually put thoughts and feelings into targeted individuals. This woman was saved out of it by God. I suggest watching her speak because clearly she is very real, of sound mind and not making this stuff up. Recently, I asked a new comer to North America if they noticed all the Halloween decorations popping up. It's about to be my least favourite time of the year. I cringe as I see fake ghosts images appearing on our street, knowing it's just the beginning of ugly "decorations." Apparently Halloween has become the second highest celebrated event in North America. My friend didn't know about Halloween. Thankfully they don't have it in their country. As I tried to tell her what I had learned over the last thirty years as a Christian about it, I was reminded about a great documentary by Caryl Mastriciana's ministry. We've been watching one of our favourite documentarians, Chris Pinto or Christian Pinto. His ministry is called  Addulam Films (click for the link there)  . Phil Robertson My husband and I for a while were watching seasons of Duck Dynasty back to back, when we first discovered it about four years ago. We appreciated the Phil scenes because he seemed real, open and brutally honest. Before that, we had heard the name Duck Dynasty but were clueless about what it was. Too many times, I forget to pray for protection before researching the enemy's tactics and as a result, the spiritual battle increases. We don't have to be intimidated or fear the enemy if we are walking under Christ's His protection. This world is not my home, I am just passing through...I believe that is an old hymn I remember, sort of. All I know is as far back as I can remember, even before I knew why we were put on this earth, I just didn't feel "at home" in this world. Didn't know what it was all about then. But once I knew, an incredible peace flooded my soul and has been there ever since. If you are struggling with fear, especially in light of what we face more with life changing world events. I remember how scared I was back as a teen in the late 70s. The nuclear bomb threat, cold war and all that left me paralyzed with fear at times. Back then I didn't know Jesus. Whenever I hear about the latest terrorist attack or horrible crime or disaster, my mind goes back to those days and I think about how afraid young people must be. That is, young people who were like me - not knowing Jesus and the Truth of God's Word.  His Truth is just as real and alive as the day He had it penned....

I remember pleading with my Dad to promise me that we'd never have tornadoes, hurricanes, world war 3, earthquakes and such. Being my Daddy, he reassured me none of that would happen. Here I am 49 and still, none of those events have happened ( where we live that is.) Thanks to my Heavenly Father, Who loved me through my earthly Daddy, promising things that he actually had no control over, but loved me so much, he knew what I needed to hear that to have peace in my wee mind. Today I am reminded how much I need to depend upon my Heavenly Father always. Not trying to have things figured out on my own. But, God, my Father knows all things.
