Are You Hurting? Meet Kegan. Again, I don't have the words to speak for this dear young man. Even if you aren't a homosexual, watch ad listen to this incredible testimony. I believe that Kegan's story would not only encourage and offer Sure Hope to those hurting and struggling, but meeting wonderful people like Kegan for those of us who are Christ followers, will stir your heart to reach out in love to all people. I know how judgemental and critical some Christians an be toward non-believers, even shunning  them. May we all have the heart of Christ to reach out with open hearts and arms to a very hurting world. There is a world of very young, wounded and abused, physically, sexually and/or emotionally who need physical rescuing and the  love of Jesus Christ shown through us.  Unless God speaks to their hearts and intervenes supernaturally, with no Christians present, yes,  if you met Afshin Javid , that can happen, but generally God loves through us. Phil Robertson My husband and I for a while were watching seasons of Duck Dynasty back to back, when we first discovered it about four years ago. We appreciated the Phil scenes because he seemed real, open and brutally honest. Before that, we had heard the name Duck Dynasty but were clueless about what it was. It wasn't until we heard his name mentioned back then, by a pastor we watch on the internet. He spoke about Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty being under attack in the media,  for his comments regarding sodomites.  His stance was a bible based one, and anyone who believes the Bible to be the Word of God, also has the same position. That goes for us as well. 2Cr 5:14-21 NLT - Whatever we do, it is because Christ's love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for everyone, we also believe that we have all died to the old life we used to live.  He died for everyone so that those who receive His New Life will no longer live to please themselves. Instead, they will live to please Christ, who died and was raised for them. So we have stopped evaluating others by what the world thinks about them. Once I mistakenly thought of Christ that way, as though He were merely a human being. How differently I think about Him now!   What this means is that those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A New Life has begun!  All this newness of life is from God, who brought us back to himself through what Christ did. And God has given us the task of reconciling people to Him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, no longer counting ...
