When your brain bounces around like mine, (Did I mention that I was diagnosed with ADHD in my early fourties!) it takes effort to focus on one topic at a time. It is why I have more than one blog focused on various topics. Here, the Sure Hope Gazette is intended to be a place to provide hope for those who want to know why we exist on this earth, to provide resources and encouragement to fellow Christians. I thought perhaps it would be a good idea to share the other blogs for anyone who may want to know... Walking, Way Overrated - is a blog intended to encourage persons living with disabilities like my husband and I do. More specifically, anyone dealing with Spinal Muscular Atrophy or Spina Bifida Occulta and Scoliosis. As well,  be a place that  provides resources for each other, parents, siblings/relatives, and friends that may be helpful. And to share the lives of others who inspire and encourage us. Rooted and Grounded

If you haven't already discovered this, there have been and still are, many belief systems and religious doctrines in this world that refer to themselves as "Christian." For instance, there have been a few opportunities in which I had the opportunity to talk with some Jehovah's Witnesses. Usually, they (and the Mormons) are the folks who travel in suits and in pairs to our homes, seeking converts and pass on their literature. Well, if you say to a Jehovah's Witness and even a Mormon (I found out from experience) that you are a Christian, they often respond with "So am I!" It was when I learned that the J.Ws do not believe in the Trinity. And because God provided awesome Christian discipleship, through a godly sister in Christ, when I became a believer, I was blessed with being taught the basic fundamentals about what being a Christian means - doctrine and such. So I can't encourage new believers enough, how important it is to read God's Word,...
