Be Encouraged During These Challenging World Changing Events- Video Shares

Image
For the first time in most of our lives, we are all experiencing the same thing for the most part. We are all facing warnings about avoiding a virus that can be spread by hand to hand, in the air, so far it kills 3% of it's victims. The more I learn about how it works against the human body in those like myself. I have a neuromuscular disorder called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Which has meant living with the prediction by Doctors decades ago, that it won't be the disease that kills you, but pneumonia. This is because the muscles used for coughing up funky phlegm to fight of respiratory illnesses, just don't function well as I get older. Leaving this world does not scare me, I look forward to spending Eternity with my dear Lord and Saviour. For me, I do fear at times,  the process, or how He will end my physical life. So watching detailed videos about the pathology of this and other health issues, only stirs up the temptation to fear. It's good to know such things to a...

To Worry Or Not To Worry...Be Encouraged In These World Changing Times

Image
As an artist, all the virus images did inspire an incomplete painting to the left. Abstracted microbes are unique and interesting, but not to be taken lightly. As most of us can say, we have never experienced a world wide event like we are now. It really does feel like it's  the end of the world as we know it . The question is, Do we feel fine? (check out that song if you aren't sure why I am referencing that song. It's catchy.) As an artist, all the virus images did inspire an incomplete painting to the left. Abstracted microbes are unique and interesting, but not to be taken lightly. The 24/7 talk about Quarantines, Cancellation Of Everything, Pandemic, Social Distancing, staying six feet apart, disinfecting everything and hoarding toilet paper and such has definitely increased my heart rate a lot lately. It feels like I am a warrior with my sword and shield fighting against anxiety, not Covid-19, but anxiety! Thankfully my dear husband says he has zero anxiety...

Video Share : Enemy Arsenal Targeting & Our Power to Overcome w Julia Thompson & David Carrico 1 02 117

Image
Always wanting to share videos, articles and such on topics that are all about our Sure Hope. Today I listened/watched a great interview by David Carrico from "Midnight Ride,"  from Now U See TV.  a pretty interesting You Tube channel, with JuliaThompson who founded Global Awakening  Prayer.  She was a victim of the targeted individual agenda or program. Not sure what to call it. All /i know that as strange as it sounds, we've done enough research, that it is clearly a very real type of warfare. The best way I can explain it is, electronic mind  warfare. Some agency is able to actually put thoughts and feelings into targeted individuals. This woman was saved out of it by God. I suggest watching her speak because clearly she is very real, of sound mind and not making this stuff up. Thought it was a good idea to share this lady's interview not so much because of the talk about Electronic warfare, but because of her testimony and very inspiring Christ focuse...

Troubled On Every Side, Yet Not Distressed!

Image
In this crazy mixed up world, it is easy to fall in despair and sadness. That goes for our fellow believers as well, it is why we must remind each other what God's Word says.... [2Co 4:1-6, 8-18 KJV] 1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; 2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledg...

Even In This Crazy World: Having The Mind Of Christ Causes Joy To Overflow Our Soul: Pastor Paul Begley

Image
Today God touched my heart as I was listening to Pastor Paul Begley. The show is broadcast live daily and is about 2 hours. What touched my heart starts at about the 1:26:00 mark on the video. So the last quarter or so.  That makes me want to share his message/God's message with anyone who wants to listen. Love Covers A Multitude of Sins. He is The Potter, We are the clay. God shapes us and keeps reshaping us, as a potter does his clay. If we have the mind of Christ, we receive peace that we can not create on our own. And we will have love for others, that flows from Christ's Love in our hearts. Just my short paraphrase. Watch at the 1:26:00 mark to hear what I can't expressed. [Jer 18:1-6, 19-23 NLT] 1 The LORD gave another message to Jeremiah. He said, 2 "Go down to the potter's shop, and I will speak to you there." 3 So I did as he told me and found the potter working at his wheel. 4 But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he...

This Is NOT Where I Belong...

Image
This world is not my home, I am just passing through...I believe that is an old hymn I remember, sort of. All I know is as far back as I can remember, even before I knew why we were put on this earth, I just didn't feel "at home" in this world. Didn't know what it was all about then. But once I knew, an incredible peace flooded my soul and has been there ever since. If you are struggling with fear, especially in light of what we face more with life changing world events. I remember how scared I was back as a teen in the late 70s. The nuclear bomb threat, cold war and all that left me paralyzed with fear at times. Back then I didn't know Jesus. Whenever I hear about the latest terrorist attack or horrible crime or disaster, my mind goes back to those days and I think about how afraid young people must be. That is, young people who were like me - not knowing Jesus and the Truth of God's Word.  His Truth is just as real and alive as the day He had it penned....

My Help Cometh From The Lord....Be Encouraged.

Note: This started out to be a short post to share a new song I was inspired by. As I wrote, a lot more poured out onto my screen....So don't forget to check out the song at the bottom!   by Anita Berglund 2015 When I was a wee girl, I battled with fear a lot. I remember pleading with my Dad to promise me that we'd never have tornadoes, hurricanes, world war 3, earthquakes and such. Being my Daddy, he reassured me none of that would happen. Here I am 49 and still, none of those events have happened ( where we live that is.) Thanks to my Heavenly Father, Who loved me through my earthly Daddy, promising things that he actually had no control over, but loved me so much, he knew what I needed to hear that to have peace in my wee mind. Today I am reminded how much I need to depend upon my Heavenly Father always. Not trying to have things figured out on my own. But, God, my Father knows all things. Years ago, I learned that my dear Dad can't stop bad things from happe...

Despair To Sure Hope

Image
When I first hear the word Hope, I don’t think about anything "sure" but about a possible Despair, by Anita Berglund brighter future. However, when it comes to our Sure Hope in Jesus Christ, the Bible really shows us how He is an absolute Hope, not wishful thinking or positive thoughts. We can rest assure, that He is all we need to live with peace in our hearts no matter what storms may rage around us. There was a time when I despaired because I had no hope. My life was supposed to end at the age of 20 due to a misdiagnosis of a disability. Terrified of what would come after death and sure that there had to be meaning to life, I let myself sink down low. But, thanks to praying, Christian family members, and the fact that God hears our heart's cry for Truth, He opened my eyes. I was never one to believe in anything just to make me feel better. I had to know if there was an absolute Truth to why we are here. It's a long story, but the bottom line is, God show...

Dig Deep!

Image
"Inductive"  simply means  to use logic induction and reasoning by examining the particulars, facts, and essence of a text, such as context and word meanings first before making any conclusions. "  Have you ever listened to or read someone's testimony or teaching about their relationship with Jesus Christ and their words affected your heart, stirring that longing to be as close as you possibly can with Jesus? So you vow from that moment on to get studying and reading, praying and learning. You even buy a new Bible, a note book and some fancy new coloured highlighting pencils! Then the sun rises on the next day and before you even got started, there you are distracted with life. In my case, whatever impulse that has caught my attention, be it sewing, organizing, drawing, yapping, creating, writing, watching cooking videos...whatever it may be. Poof, the sun sets and my new notebook is unmarked. Thankfully, we can't earn favour with God and He knows our hearts...
