When your brain bounces around like mine, (Did I mention that I was diagnosed with ADHD in my early fourties!) it takes effort to focus on one topic at a time. After the "Know Your Enemy Series," Mark Fairley produced his latest series called "Stay Free." It has been designed in short segments, just like his previous series. We have listened/watched the entire series and must say again, he has done an excellent job in researching and presenting Biblical truth. In fact, Mark presents what Christianity is all about in a way that is easy to understand. He expounds on spiritual warfare, the importance of walking right before the Lord and how we can not do anything right apart from Jesus Christ's finished work. If you haven't already discovered this, there have been and still are, many belief systems and religious doctrines in this world that refer to themselves as "Christian." For instance, there have been a few opportunities in which I had the opportunity to talk with some Jehovah's Witnesses. Usually, they (and the Mormons) are the folks who travel in suits and in pairs to our homes, seeking converts and pass on their literature. Well, if you say to a Jehovah's Witness and even a Mormon (I found out from experience) that you are a Christian, they often respond with "So am I!" It was when I learned that the J.Ws do not believe in the Trinity. And because God provided awesome Christian discipleship, through a godly sister in Christ, when I became a believer, I was blessed with being taught the basic fundamentals about what being a Christian means - doctrine and such. Sure Hope! When we receive a gift that changes our life, a gift that is the answer to the age old question about the meaning of life, it is natural to want to share that gift with anyone who wants to know. This is what this blog is all about. Faith is believing in something that you don't see. The awesome thing is, when I once searched for why we are here and what life was all about, something inside me knew there had to be one Truth and One Way. To not talk about Thee Truth, to me would be like finding the cure for cancer and not sharing it. In fact, knowing the meaning of life is even bigger than finding the cure for cancer. those who know, can understand why.
