This blog was originally dedicated to young believers and those searching. And the 1 Road 1 Way blog was directed to more established or mature believers. Well, I am having a hard time writing and posting for both because it has become obvious that no matter what "age" we are in Christ, we all need to hear the same teachings, be encouraged, directed, prayed for, warned about false teachers and the deceptions of the enemy of our souls, loved and such. From now on this will be the only blog regarding Christian maturity and discipleship and whatever else arises! If there are questions or if there is a topic you would like to know more about, feel free to ask. With God's direction, I will do my best to help.

There are a lot of words that can be shared in regard to Christianity and what it is all about. As well as encouraging words, useful words, to help new believers to know what it means now that they have placed their faith in Christ.  As I try writing and re-writing entries and not posting them,  I have concluded, at this point that as a spiritually hungry Christian myself, why not post the teachings that God uses to speak to me. If they speak to me, then they may speak to you. This is why you will see many videos and links to the teachings of my fellow Christians. Please see the links, for more great teaching resources. What is the Holy Spirit? The question really is, "Who, is the Holy Spirit?" One key belief to identify "true" Christianity or Christ Followers, would be the belief in something you may have heard before, called the Trinity or a Triune God or how about this, One God Who has three distinct persons.  1. God the Father 2. Jesus Christ (God the Father coming to earth in Human form - born of a virgin, fully man and fully God) 3. The Holy Spirit (God working in those Who believe in Christ - God invisible) I have heard this analogy to describe what the Triune Oneness of God means and it helped me. The Christian Bible consists of, sixty six books, penned by fourty different authors (under the inspiration of God of course) make up the entire Christian Bible. ow can it be God's Word?: Technically, yes, the Bible was literally penned by men but, that is where the human aspect of the creation of the Bible ends. The men who put the words onto the manuscripts, were inspired directly by God's Holy Spirit. There are many evidences to back up the fact the Scriptures are God breathed and flawless. 2nd Timothy 3:16-17 tells us that:  "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." Some undeniable evidence that the Bible text comes from God's Hand is the mere fact that many prophecies throughout the old Testament about the coming of Christ and other events have all come true. If you haven't already discovered this, there have been and still are, many belief systems and religious doctrines in this world that refer to themselves as "Christian." For instance, there have been a few opportunities in which I had the opportunity to talk with some Jehovah's Witnesses. Usually, they (and the Mormons) are the folks who travel in suits and in pairs to our homes, seeking converts and pass on their literature. Well, if you say to a Jehovah's Witness and even a Mormon (I found out from experience) that you are a Christian, they often respond with "So am I!" It was when I learned that the J.Ws do not believe in the Trinity. And because God provided awesome Christian discipleship, through a godly sister in Christ, when I became a believer, I was blessed with being taught the basic fundamentals about what being a Christian means - doctrine and such. Sure Hope! When we receive a gift that changes our life, a gift that is the answer to the age old question about the meaning of life, it is natural to want to share that gift with anyone who wants to know. This is what this blog is all about. Faith is believing in something that you don't see. The awesome thing is, when I once searched for why we are here and what life was all about, something inside me knew there had to be one Truth and One Way. To not talk about Thee Truth, to me would be like finding the cure for cancer and not sharing it. In fact, knowing the meaning of life is even bigger than finding the cure for cancer. those who know, can understand why. That Truth is there for all of us to receive.  Obviously, there are a zillion faiths and religions out there in this world.
